CENTER TWP — James Winkler, 69, of Adams Township was the only person injured when his Buick LeSabre crashed into a house in the 500 block of Sunset Drive at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday. No one inside was hurt.

State police said Winkler has “diabetic issues” that may have led to the crash. The air bag deployed.

The car hit the stone front of the house, spilling debris, dishes and books onto the front lawn.

Wanda Delu was inside with her mother, the house’s owner, when the vehicle hit.

“We were watching TV,” she said. “And boom! A big bang, and everything went flying.”

Delu said her mother, Hazel Webb, is doing fine.
