Saturday — A thief reportedly stole a 95-pound, black pit bull from a home in the 200 block of East Brady Street. The owner, who described the dog as "very friendly with people," said the animal was taken between 8 p.m. Friday and midnight.9:17 p.m. Friday — Danielle Frazier, 28, was arrested for allegedly assaulting 22-year-old Chelsea Rimer of Lyndora during a domestic dispute at his West Jefferson Street apartment. Frazier is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.7:26 p.m. Sept. 24 — A Butler man, who was injured when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car, faces a pair of traffic citations.Marcus Register Jr., 39, was knocked off his bike at Jefferson and Elm streets, after he rode out from a convenience store parking lot. He got up and pushed the bike off the road before collapsing with a head injuryRegister was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital before being flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. He suffered a broken rib and needed five staples to close his head wound.Register was cited for not having a light on the front of his bike and for improperly entering or crossing a road. Nathan A Burk, 20, of Karns City was driving the car.
2:40 a.m. Saturday — Mac Bell, 30, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Branchton and Kohlmeyer roads in Washington Township.
