Tuesday — Alexander Sovek, 18, of Butler and a 15-year-old boy are accused in connection with a last month's vandalism spree in which several vehicles, homes and Broad Street School were spray painted with graffiti.Sovek faces a charge of criminal mischief. Monday — An unknown thief reportedly stole the Pennsylvania license plate FWN-8784 from a vehicle at a Litman Grove Lane home. The theft occurred sometime after Saturday and before 5 p.m. Monday.

Monday — Someone stole seven, 16-inch tires and rims from a motor home at a Route 173 parking lot in Wolfcreek Township. Sharlene Coxson of Franklin, Venango County owns the property, valued at $1,120, that was stolen between Nov. 4 and Monday.
