11:54 p.m. Wednesday — Angela Marie Hogg, 39, of Slippery Rock was arrested under suspicion of DUI after the pickup truck she was driving struck a utility pole along Route 108 near Christley Lane in Slippery Rock Township. Hogg was not injured.2:20 a.m. Dec. 18 — Mark Kocon, 22, of Saxonburg was cited for several traffic violations and arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Fisher Road in Jefferson Township.6:50 p.m. Dec. 17 — A car driven by Francis B. Ferry, 41, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Deborah Reott, 43, of Butler collided on South Benbrook Road near Lions Road in Center Township. Ferry suffered moderate injuries and was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road. Deborah Reott and three girls in her van, ages 11, 9 and 6, were not injured. A boy and two other girls in Reott's van, age unknown, 7 and 4, respectively, suffered minor injuries.June 18 — Michael L. Pears of Chicora was defrauded of $2,500 when he bid on an online auction for a 1970 Dodge Charger, then sent a $2,500 money order to an unknown person in Nevada and never received the vehicle.

11:50 a.m. Dec. 20 — A vehicle driven by Christie A. Kirkwood, 35, of New Castle crashed and rolled onto its roof along Route 108 near Forbes Road in Scott Township. Christie Kirkwood was not injured and was cited for driving at unsafe speed. An infant girl in Kirkwood's vehicle was in a child safety seat and was not injured.
