5:58 a.m. Sunday — A bicycle was found along Interstate 79 in Worth Township. The owner can claim the bike at the state police barracks in Butler Township.3:25 a.m. Sunday — Chad Heasley, 38, of Mercer was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found passed out in a pickup truck at the intersection of Swamp Run Road and Route 8 in Center Township.Sunday — Astereo and checkbook were stolen from a pickup truck of Derrick and Brian Seidler of Butler that was parked at a Dick Road home in Franklin Township. The theft occurred between 4 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.2:51 a.m. Saturday — Daniel L. Stutz, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup truck struck another pickup parked on Herman Road in Summit Township. Stutz drove off after the crash but was later caught.2:28 a.m. Saturday — Crystal M. Stark, 27, is accused of assaulting 35-year-old Wilbert Wiles at the couple's Pleasant Valley Road inCherry Township. Stark is charged with simple assault and harassment.Saturday — Astereo was stolen from a pickup parked on Taggert Road in Worth Township. The Sunset Hills United Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh owns the stolen property.8:15 a.m. Thursday — One person was injured in a two-car crash on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. The accident occurred when the vehicle of one driver, who police did not identify, spun out and hit the other vehicle driven by Leonard Popovich, 66, of Erie. Popovich's passenger, Patricia Popovich, 62, of Eire, suffered a minor injury.7:55 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Malorie L. McClimans, 21, of New Castle and a pickup truck driven by Brian D. Swope, 24, of Mercer collided on Route 422 near Pflough Road in Franklin Township.Thursday — A thief stole about 500 gallons of diesel fuel after breaking into Parker Sand and Gravel on Robinson Road in Allegheny Township. The thief cut through a steel chain at the business and drove a pickup truck to a diesel fuel tank. The suspect then cut a locking device to tap into the tank and took the fuel, valued at $900.7:45 p.m. Wednesday — John Nardulli, 26, and Sonja Wilson, 34, both of Portersville, were charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute at a Route 19 home in Muddy Creek Township.
9:15 p.m. Friday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Thomas W. Arble Jr., 38, of Worthington struck a tree after spinning out on snow-covered Route 128 in North Buffalo Township. Police said Arble was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Friday — An unknown burglar between 7:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. broke into a home on Bison Street across from the Civic Center in Worthington.It was not immediately know if anything was taken.
8:51 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Thomas C. Hogan, 67, of Grove City and a sport utility vehicle driven by Michael Conglose Jr., 49, of New Castle collided on Route 208 and Irishtown Road in Pine Township.7:35 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jeffrey Yi-Lin Forrest, 49, of Grove City crashed into a guardrail on snow-covered Route 173 in Liberty Township. Forrest was cited for driving too fast for conditions.8:30 p.m. Wednesday — Robert L. Bowers Jr., 36, of Sandy Lake was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Emily L. Show, 32, of Sandy Lake during an argument at their Patton Road residence in Sandy Lake Township. Bowers was arraigned on charges and placed in the Mercer County Jail on $25,000 bond.12:47 p.m. Jan 26 — A car driven by Margaret P. Cancro, 54, of Kalamazoo, Mich., slid on snow and rolled onto its roof along Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township. Cancro was cited for driving at too fast for conditions.
