CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:

Anita J. Poplawski, 53, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged July 26 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to keep right, disregard of traffic lane, failing to drive at safe speeds and careless driving.

Michael Raymond DeSanto, 22, of Mars waived his case to court. He was charged July 11 by the state police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, speeding, careless driving, possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brendon Michael Kozulp, 25, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 7 by the Cranberry Township police with theft by deception, receiving stolen property and writing bad checks.

Dagmar Yates, 39, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged June 28 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregard of traffic lane.

Joseph Lyle Wilson, 33, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged July 11 by the state police with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, disregard of traffic lane, careless driving and failure to notify police of an accident.

Tina M. Mulkerrins, 37, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged May 22 by the Cranberry Township police with disorderly conduct and harassment.

Daniel John Graham, 19, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged June 28 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substance by a minor, following too closely and purchasing alcohol by a minor.

Andrew John Intihar, 21, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged May 30 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive at safe speeds and failure to keep right.

EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Russell Paul Kelosky, Jr., 19, of Renfrew waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 3 by the Zelienople police with simple assault, harassment and purchasing alcohol by a minor.Gary Earl Gaurrich, 25, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged May 11 by the Evans City police with fleeing or attempting to elude officers, fleeing or attempting to elude signals and failure to drive at safe speeds.Richard D. Garland, 26, of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to writing bad checks and was ordered to pay $520.55, in fines, court costs and restitution. He had been charged Nov. 7, 2005 by the Jackson Township police.Janice Lynn Cercone, 25, of Harmony waived her case to court. She was charged July 24 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without insurance, failure to immediately notify police of an accident.Charles C. Smetana, 48, of Valencia waived his case to court. He was charged July 17 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol.Edward E. McConnell, 34, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged July 18 by the Jackson Township police with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.Ryan Fisher, 18, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged July 5 by the Zelienople police with loitering and prowling at nighttime and disorderly conduct.Nicholas William Schwenke, 20, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged July 21 by the state police with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of corruption of minors.Joshua Shane Dapper, 24, of Zelienople had his case held to court. He was charged July 25 by the Evans City police with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.Jacob Bruce Zaiger, 20, Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged July 5 by the Evans City police with driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor, purchasing alcohol by a minor and driving with no headlights.Jedidiah T. Harrison, 28, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged July 7 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.Joseph Dale Lutz, 21, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 7 by the Zelienople police with simple assault and harassment.Nicholas J. Oesterling, 22, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged July 7 by the Adams Township police with disorderly conduct and selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor.Ashley N. Oesterling, 19, of Butler waived her case to court. She was charged July 7 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor, purchasing alcohol by a minor and minors prohibited operating a vehicle with any alcohol in system.Haley Michelle Higginbottom, 26, of Evans City waived her case to court. He was ordered to pay $443.50 in fines and court costs.Brandon Kifer, 26, of Houtzdale, Clearfield County, was held for court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and hindering apprehension or prosecution, filed April 28.Theresa Punchios, 22, of Dubois, Clearfield County, waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, fled April 28.District Judge Lewis StoughtonCHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Dylan Como, 20, of Mercer waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding, careless driving, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages, filed July 3.Edith Kasarda, 45, of Butler was held for court on a charge of retail theft filed Aug. 11.Martin Joel Martin, 41, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, making an illegal turn and driving with an expired inspection sticker, filed May 8.John Martin Jr., 56, of Clintonville waived to court a charge of felons not to possess firearms filed May 6.District Judge Lewis StoughtonCHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Timothy Metzgar, 28, of Butler waived to court a charge of harassment by communication filed July 11.Thomas Rodgers, 39, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed July 27. He was sentenced to time served in county prison in lieu of $544 in fines and court costs.Benjamin Rogers, 24, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct filed May 8. He was ordered to pay $243.50 in fines and court costs.
