Ruth E. Kamin
Ruth E. Kamin, 88, of Butler, formerly of Hancock, N.Y., died Wednesday in Butler.
She was born July 17, 1919, in Cannonsville, N.Y., the daughter of Charlie and Ruby Smith Harris. She married Frederick Kamin, and they owned Freddy's Diner in Fishs Eddy, N.Y. He predeceased her on Sept. 3, 1987.
Surviving are her two children, Glenn Kamin and his wife, Gloria, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Janet Uram and her husband, Bill Uram Jr.; two grandchildren, Dawn Uram, and Tom Uram and his wife, Kelly; and three great-grandchildren, Kerry, Shannon and Ian Uram. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several sisters.
<B>KAMIN </B>— Calling hours for Ruth E. Kamin, who died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, were from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday.A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Andrew Weidner officiating.
