Jason Edsall and Troy Double scored hat tricks to lead the Pittsburgh Huskies Bantam AA hockey team to a 12-2 win over the Allegheny Badgers Saturday morning.

Dustin Davis had two scores while Cam Lydick, Nick Whann, Eric Leya and Ethan Marie each had one goal.

Edsall and Christian Miller chipped in three assists each. Marie, Leya, Mike Granata and Matt Tomasovic had two each.

Goalie Parker Sherry had nine saves for the Huskies (25-10-3).

Boys BasketballEric Hindman tallied 10 points and eight rebounds, and Nick Patten added nine points in the Butler eighth-grade White team’s 30-26 loss to Fox Chapel.

WrestlingButler Junior High defended its section title by taking first place in the North Allegheny Tournament.The Golden Tornado beat out General McLane for the title in the 18-team tourney. Ryan Hannon (165 pounds) was Butler’s lone individual champion.’High O’Neil (75 pounds) and Jeremiah Bortmas at 130 placed second. Will Bortmas at 155, Alex White at 185 and Austin George at 250 took third while David Slomers placed fourth.Butler hosts Franklin Regional at 5 p.m.
