The Butler Catholic fifth-grade girls basketball team beat St. Bonaventure 15-13 in the St. Mary’s Tournament title game.

Anna Chiprean tallied seven points and Emily Hegedus had four.

Maggie Bartony, Emma LeMay, Erin LeMay, Megan Whitby and Sophia Wiest also are members of the team.

• The Butler Catholic boys varsity beat St. Cyril 49-26 in the tournament quarterfinals before falling 40-28 to Bishop Leonard in the semifinals.

John Ferguson had 20 points, Chris McConnell had 15 and Davis Miller had 12 against St. Cyril.

Ferguson had 10 points, McConnell had seven points, Miller had six points and Bryce BonAnno had seven rebounds for the Saints (20-7).
