SEVEN FIELDS — The borough is bringing back a popular community event that combines food and fellowship. Food Truck Night will kick off at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Town Park, 380 Castle Creek Drive.

Between eight and 11 food trucks will be at the park each Wednesday evening through August.

Table 86 by Hines Ward will be there each night selling alcoholic beverages.

The event began last summer as a way to get the community together, said Tom Smith, borough manager.

“We try to get as many summer events as possible where neighbors get out and there's something to do,” Smith said.

Each week food truck vendors offering different fare will park in the Town Park from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be sandwiches, barbecue, pierogies, ice cream, hot dogs, fish tacos, burgers, pizza and more.
