EAST BRADY — Borough residents will have a chance later this month to clean out their attics and cellars as the community holds its 24th annual townwide yard and garage sale.

The East Brady Area Development Corp. is sponsoring the event on May 28. It begins at 8 a.m. and has no end time.

In conjunction with the event, the Old Bank Deli will offer a sidewalk breakfast from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. that day.

On June 4, the group also will have the community’s annual Dumpster Day, when residents can bring unwanted items to the Ferry Street parking lot adjacent to the Arnold Beabout Community Center at 502 Ferry St. for disposal.

Bradys Bend residents can bring their items to the parking lot at the municipal building on Route 68, and a dedicated dumpster will be there for scrap metal and batteries at this location only. Tires, electronics, large kitchen appliances and kitchen and bathroom waste will not be accepted, nor will commercial dumping be permitted.
