9:03 p.m. Monday — A Butler woman was hurt when a minivan struck her as she walked across the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Fairground Hill Road.The van driven by Brian McDonald, 39, of Butler was westbound on Fairground Hill Road and turning onto Hansen Avenue when it hit Susan Clutter, who suffered only minor injuries.McDonald told police he had the green light and did not see Clutter in time to stop. No charges were filed.6:06 p.m. Monday — Michael Redmon, 52, of Butler was arrested for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order by repeatedly making threatening telephone calls to a woman at her Washington Street home.Redmon was found in the city's Clay Hills area. He was arraigned on charges he violated the PFA, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.12:58 a.m. Sunday — Chad J. Erdos, 31, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on South Sixth Avenue. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving on the wrong side of the road and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.Butler Twp Police1:35 p.m. Saturday — Amanda Schrecengost, 18, of Chicora is accused of shoplifting at Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Schrecengost, meanwhile, also allegedly was found with merchandise reportedly stolen from Lowe's in Moraine Pointe Plaza. She faces retail theft charges.Saturday — An unknown thief overnight stole a Pantera youth dirt bike from a shed in the 100 block of Kohler Avenue in Lyndora. The 49 cc bike is yellow with a black seat and was missing the front fender and the back fender was damaged.Aug. 2 — Tammy Johns, 49, of Worthington, Armstrong County, is accused of attempting to return an item that she had not paid for at Wal-Mart in Butler Commons, for a fraudulent return. She faces a charge of attempted theft by deception.

8:30 a.m. Sunday — Austin Luchansky, no age given, of Stoneboro, Mercer County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a set of mailboxes on Route 422 at Roxy's Diner in Prospect.State Police, Clarion3:35 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by William W. Reddinger, 57, of New Bethlehem struck the rear of a car at Route 28 and Liberty Street in New Bethlehem. Kathryn Schreckengost, 68, a passenger in the car driven by Jack Schreckengost, 74, both of Templeton, was treated at Kittanning Hospital for minor injuries.11 p.m. Wednesday — John William Fancher III, 34, of Rimersburg was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 31-year-old woman during a domestic dispute at a Rock Lane home in Toby Township. The woman, who police did not identify, suffered a minor injury.Fancher was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief, and placed in the Clarion County Jail in $5,000 bond.July 31 — Someone stole two street signs and a stop sign at Bela and Jeffrey Hollow roads in Toby Township. The post holding the signs also was taken in the theft that happened July 30 and 31.State Police, Kittanning3:20 a.m. Saturday — Lee Thomas Crissman, 22, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Mile Long Road in North Buffalo Township.5:31 p.m. Thursday — Ronald E. Ulisky, 48, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a minor crash at Route 422 and Bear Street in Worthington.
