1:58 p.m. Sunday — Andrew Robitaille, 26, of Pittsburgh was arrested after he allegedly tried to pass a fake prescription at the Walgreen's pharmacy on New Castle Road. Robitaille is changed with fraudulent acquisition of a controlled substance.2:22 a.m. Sunday — Two Butler men face charges after police were called to the Days Inn on Route 8 for a reported fight. Charged in the case was Ryan Kelly, 29, for possession of a small amount of marijuana; and Joshua Beistel, 26, for harassment.Police noted Kelly, who was wanted on a bench warrant, was placed in the Butler County Prison.9:29 p.m. Saturday — Two employees at Applebee's face charges for fighting at the restaurant in the Butler Crossings shopping center. Police said they cited Heather Martino, 20, and Javelyn Hollefreund, 20, both of Butler, with disorderly conduct in the fight.8:34 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Daniel J. Miller, 20, of Renfrew and Susan L. Herman, 54, of Boyers collided on Route 8 South at Zanotti Motorcycles. Both drivers were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said Miller was cited for careless driving and driving at an unsafe speed.12:25 a.m. Saturday — Walter C. Jordan, 31, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 North. Police said they also cited Jordan for reckless driving and careless driving.6:18 p.m. Friday — Christopher Graham, 46, of Butler was not hurt when the motorcycle he was driving struck two vehicles on Meridian Road near Pony Trail Lane.Police said Graham's cycle first collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Catherine Pakutz, 58, of Renfrew. The bike then hit the side of a pickup truck driven by John Szymanowski, 64, of Butler.8:37 a.m. Thursday — Richard Fulmer Jr., 24, of Butler was arrested after police found him with suspected marijuana while wandering the halls at the Butler Senior High School. Police said Fulmer is charged with trespass and possession of a small amount of marijuana.8 a.m. Oct. 1 — A 15-year-old girl faces criminal charges after she allegedly stole a purse at the Butler Intermediate High School. Police said the girl, who they did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct.
5:14 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Andrew T. Bell, 16, of Cranberry Township crashed into a guide rail along Interstate 79 at exit 85 in Jackson Township. Bell suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.10:38 p.m. Sunday — Someone tried to break into the RC Radyk wire storage yard in Clinton Township. Anyone with information can call police at 724-284-8100.2:05 a.m. Sunday — Steven Kuhrt, 20, no address given, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 138 in Brady Township.
4 p.m. Sunday — A motorcycle operated by Christina D. Burns, 38, of Sligo crashed along Route 338 in Richland Township, Clarion County. Burns suffered moderate injuries and was cited for careless driving.
2:10 p.m. Sunday — Someone entered a home belonging to Natalie Biagioni on the 500 block of Franklin Street in Freeport and damaged items in the living room, kitchen and bedroom between 11:15 p.m. Saturday and 2:10 p.m. Sunday.9 a.m. Sunday — A vehicle traveling south on Gaiser Road left the road and struck four trees in the yard at 164 Gaiser Road, drove through the rest of the yard and reentered the road after reaching the driveway. Anyone with information should call police at 724-543-2011.9:15 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Nathan J. Fink, 26, of Munhall struck a deer along Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Fink and passenger Monica N. Minyon, 27, of North Huntington were not injured. <B></B>7:21 p.m. Friday — A car driven by George S. Shenk, 81, of Kittanning struck a deer on Route 28 near Cadogan Slate Lick Road in North Buffalo Township.
2:15 a.m. Saturday — Dylan T. Como, 24, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on East Butler Street in Mercer.
Saturday — Police suspect at least two unknown thieves broke into six vehicles at the Hells Hollow parking lot on Shaffer and Rim roads in Slippery Rock Township.The thieves smashed out the windows to get into the vehicles between 6:10 and 6:30 p.m. Among the property stolen was a purse, laptop computer, global positioning units, money and credit cards.
