PENN TWP — The Penn Valley Athletic Club, 6135 Monroe Road, will have a “Food Trucks and Tunes” event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the club.

There will be food available for purchase, and the band Dinnerbell Road will play. A raffle for a free club membership also is planned.

The event is open to the community.

DiscoverE is a day camp program for children at area state parks.

Moraine and McConnells Mill parks offer three programs this summer for children to explore the outdoors. Details are:

DiscoverE Day Camp Outdoor Explorers (ages 6-8 only), 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 27 and 29, Kildoo Picnic Area, McConnells Mill State Park

DiscoverE Penns Adventurers (ages 9-12), 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 6, 13 and 20, Lakeview Pavilion #4, Lakeview Beach North Shore at Moraine State Park.

DiscoverE Day Camp Hide ‘n Seekers (ages 4 and 5 only), 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 3, 10 and 17, Lakeview Pavilion #4, Lakeview Beach North Shore at Moraine.
