Monday is the deadline to register for the Elliott Acres Therapy Riding Inc. golf outing fundraiser.

The event will take place beginning at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 18 at Hiland Golf Course, 106 St. Wendelin Road.

Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit center for riders with special needs.

MARS — The Friends of the Library Mars Area Home Tour will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11.

The tour will include at least eight historic and character homes in the Mars, Adams and Middlesex townships and Valencia areas.

Tickets are on sale now at the library at 107 Grand Ave. or online at www.marsarealibrary.org/hometour.html.

Proceeds will benefit the Mars Public Library.
