With the holidays just around the corner, the Hoagie Shop, 110 N. McKean St., will give away Thanksgiving hoagies from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 as a way to say thank you to the community.

These hoagies will consist of homemade buns, oven roasted turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, corn, and homemade gravy on the side.

The giveaway is based on first-come, first-served. Once the hoagies are gone, no rain checks will be issued.

JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School District is organizing the 21st annual Senior Holiday Event at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the intermediate high school.

This holiday presentation is for senior citizens living in the Seneca Valley School District community and features various performances from secondary student groups.

A warm holiday lunch will also be served in the cafeteria.

The event is free, but reservations are required by Dec. 7. Call 724-452-6040, Ext. 0.
