Anderson 95th birthday

Roy E. Anderson

Roy E. Anderson of Prospect will celebrate his 95th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Prospect Fire Hall.

Anderson was born June 14, 1921, in Butler. He married the former Wilma Woessner Sept. 2, 1941, in Ashland, Ky. Mrs. Anderson is deceased.

He has three children, Kenneth (Nancy) Anderson of Collinsville, Okla., Norma (George) Farinelli of Denison, Texas, and Virginia Wagner of Prospect.

He also has nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was a mechanic and retired from the state police barracks in Butler.

Anderson is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

He is a lifelong member of the Prospect Fire Department. He is a past member of the church council, Prospect Borough Council and the Slippery Rock School Board.
