Roy D. Hurd

Roy D. Hurd, 61, of Cranberry Township died Friday.

Roy served as a Cranberry Township supervisor, was honorably discharged from the Navy, was past president of the VOICe shelter, was past member of the Cranberry Rotary and was the owner of a computer company and the Renaissance Day Spa for 40 years.

He was the treasured husband of Charlotte (Bartolotta) Hurd; cherished father of Lisa Foster (Richard) and his loving daughter, Debra Gugliuzza; beloved grandfather of Richard Francis, Alyssa Grace and Dominic Joseph Foster; son of the late Margaret and Kenneth Hurd; brother of Thomas Hurd (Rose); and loving brother-in-law of Charles and Josephine Palmeri; He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and dear friends, John Kaminski and Larry Steeb.

<B>HURD</B> — Friends of Roy D. Hurd, who died Friday, July 18, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Institute, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
