PENN TWP — Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road, will have an Easter event for the family beginning at 10 a.m. April 13.

It begins with an Easter egg hunt and continues with a walk through the days of Holy Week. There will also be crafts and photos with the Easter Bunny.

[naviga:h3]Flashlight egg hunt planned[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, will host a flashlight egg hunt and movie night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 12. Children of all ages are welcome.

The evening will begin with crafts and activities, followed by a children’s movie.

Sarah Hogue, director of children’s ministry for Dutilh Church, said, “We have hundreds of eggs and are hoping kids will bring their Easter baskets and join us for the flashlight egg hunt.” The church is providing small flashlights for all the participants.
