Butler, SV roll in lacrosse

Tyler Kotch's six goals and two assists paced the Butler boys lacrosse team to a 12-7 victory over visiting Cathedral Prep on Saturday.

Cody Conklin contributed three goals, Cody Bachman a goal and two assists and Patrick Hitchan and Cole Harvey one score each.

Alex Hill made 12 saves for the Golden Tornado and received strong defensive play in front of him by John Noel and Nick Elliott.

Butler (9-1, 5-0) hosts Baldwin tonight.

Seneca Valley 13, Manheim Township 8 — The Raiders (10-0), ranked No. 7 in the state and No. 1 in Western Pennsylvania, received four goals from Jake McAndrew and three each from Sean Dailey and Will Koontz in this Friday night win.Sean O'Rourke, Sam Jarrett and Andy Hickman also scored. Galie Brian Bohn had 11 saves.
