Welter, Cogley
Melissa Welter and Theodore Cogley, both of Butler were united in marriage at 11 a.m. May 29 at Camp Agawam in New Castle. The Rev. David West officiated. A reception was held at Camp Agawam.
The bride is the daughter of William Welter III and Christine LaMotte, both of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Gerald and Cynthia Cogley of Butler.
The honor attendant was Robyn Welter of Butler. Bridesmaids were Lori Gladd of Butler and Kristen DeVille of West Mifflin. The flower girl was Ashley Cancilla of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Christopher Robinson of Hooker. Ushers were Thomas Butler of Butler and Charles Cogley of Bridgeville. The ring bearer was Andrew Cogley of Butler.
The bride graduated in 1996 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Butler County Community College. She works in guest services at the Clearview Mall.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from BHS and in 2000 from the Oakbridge Academy of Arts. He works for Wal-Mart in Butler.
After honeymooning in Erie, the couple is making their home in Butler.
