Wilson, Shields
Samantha Wilson of Chicora and James Shields of Hagerstown, Md., were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora. The Revs. James Higgins and Tim Bupp officiated. A reception was held at the Petrolia Social Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Wilson of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Dave and Pati Shields of Hagerstown, Md.
The maid of honor was Richelle Young of Meridian. The bridesmaid was Erin Fleeger of Chicora. The flower girl was Maura Wilson of Chambersburg.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeremy Mann of Boonsboro, Md. Ushers were Adam Wilson of Chicora and Jason Vance of Columbia, Md. The ring bearer was Alex Popichak of Carnegie.
The bride graduated in 2001 from Karns City High School and in 2004 from Butler County Community College.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Williamsport High School and in 2003 from Penn State University. He works for MBP Construction Engineers in Fairfax, Va.
Following a Jamaican cruise honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Hagerstown, Md.
