Sheakley, O'Brien
Jennifer Sheakley and Daniel O'Brien, both of Butler exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Honorable Marilyn Horan officiated at the ceremony. A reception was also held at The Atrium.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Karen Sheakley of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are James O'Brien of Jacksonville, Fla., and Richard and Ruth Crotzer of Butler.
The matron of honor was Jacqueline Shorts of Butler. Bridesmaids were Christina Ray of Butler and Leyha Crawford of Pittsburgh. Nichole Gamble of Butler was the junior bridesmaid. The flower girls were Emma Gerthoffer and Mia Gerthoffer, both of Cranberry Township.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Kay of Pittsburgh. Groomsmen were Gregory Crotzer and Robert Shorts, both of Butler. Junior groomsman was Joshua Crawford of Pittsburgh. The ring bearer was Zachary Gerthoffer.
The bride graduated in 1994 from Butler High School. She works as a nanny in Cranberry Township.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from BHS and in 1997 from Slippery Rock University. He is employed with For Your Entertainment in Hermitage.
The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls and Canada, and is making their home in Butler.
