Barbish, Roberts

Kristin Barbish of Gibsonia and Alexandre Roberts of Front Royal, Va. exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at Holy Sepulcher Parish in Butler. The Rev. Daniel Mauer officiated. A reception was held at the Four Points Sheraton North.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Connie Barbish of Mars. Parents of the bridegroom are Russell Roberts of Fort Mill, S.C. and Michéle Roberts of Paris.

The matron of honor was Amy Lokay of East McKeesport. The flower girl was Lucie Roberts of Cincinnati.

Performing the duties of best man was Edward Roberts of Toulouse, France. The ring bearer was Luke Lokay of East McKeesport.

The bride graduated in 1996 from Mars High School, in 2000 from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree and in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a master's degree. She works as a high school librarian.

The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Gainesville High School and in 1993 from the University of Florida. He works as a high school French teacher.

After honeymooning in the Poconos, the couple is making their home in Huntingdon.
