Kay, Duffy

Dorothy Kay of Butler and Dade City, Fla., and Orton "Danny" Duffy Jr. of Butler exchanged vows at 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev. Gary Stakem officiated. A reception followed at the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora.

The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Leroy Wilbert of Butler, and her son, Ronald Welter and her grandson Kevin Welter, both of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

The matron of honor was Roleen Palace and the junior maid of honor was Amanda Welter, both of Butler. Bridesmaids included Marilyn Shikella Of Casa Grande, Ariz.; Duffie Wyatt of Boyleston, Mass.; Wendy Mamula of Tavares, Fla.; Pamela Ballash of South Park; Linda Karnash of Astatula, Fla.; Stephanie Welter of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Racheal Santoro of Butler. The flower girls were Audra Ballash and Whitney Ballash, both of South Park.

Performing the duties of best man was Glenn Duffy of Sanford, Fla. The junior best man was Nathan Mamula of Tavares. Ushers included Mike Mamula and Jim Mamula, both of Tavares; David Welter of Davie, Fla.; Tony Welter and Andy Palace, both of Butler; Rocco Nocera of Harmony; Tom Duffy of Stow, Ohio; Wade Duffy of Ormond Beach, Fla.; Steven Ballash of South Park; and Tim Karnash of Astatula.

The bride is a 1957 graduate of Butler High School.

The groom is a 1938 graduate of North Washington High School and a 1949 graduate of Point Park College. He is retired from Armco in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Florida, the couple is residing in both Butler and Dade City.
