Anna Christy's 28 assists and Ashley Sample's 10 kills highlighted Freeport's 3-1 nonsection girls volleyball win over Knoch Wednesday.

The victory came by scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-1.

Linsey Gugino had 15 assists and nine digs, Rachel Grubbs had seven kills, Jessica McFadden had 19 service points and Laura Prunty had 17 points for Freeport (13-0).

Knoch got 17 digs, seven blocks and seven kills from Tori Lark. Jessi Boldy had 33 digs and Stephanie Gross 30 assists for the Knights (7-6, 5-3).

<B>Mars 7, Freeport 0 — </B>Alanna Haefner scored three times, Mani Brueckner netted two goals, and Kara Angeletti and Amber Fichter had one each for the Planets (17-0, 13-0), who have outscored their opponents 123-7.<B>Pine-Richland 4, Butler 0 —</B> The Rams blanked the Tornado.
