Jessica Maley and Scott Cartwright, both of New Bethlehem, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Fenelton Methodist Church in Fenelton. A reception was held at The Atrium in Prospect.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Vickie Maley of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Wes and Patty Cartwright of New Castle.

The honor attendant was Angela Maley of Homer City. Bridesmaids included Amy Fierst of Sharpsville, Cathy Hicks of Butler and Becky Cartwright of Volant.

Performing the duties of best man was S.T. Bunn of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Ushers included John Fierst of Sharpsville, Jeff Jones of Tuscaloosa and Doug Maley of Chicora. The ring bearer was Michael Pope Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Karns City High School and is currently a psychology major at Butler County Community College. She is employed at Passavant Memorial Homes.

The groom graduated in 1996 from Tuscaloosa High School and is currently studying computer programming at Butler County Community College. He works for Clarion Bathware.

Following a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple is residing in New Bethlehem.
