Shelly Hemmerlin of Slippery Rock and Jonathan Hinkle of Portersville were united in marriage on Nov. 6 at Portersville Presbyterian Church in Portersville. The Rev. Dana Opp officiated.

The bride is the daughter of John and Cathy Hemmerlin of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Betty Hinkle of Portersville.

The honor attendant was Emily Geisler of Prospect.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Dan Cheesemen of Portersville.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Slippery Rock High School. She is a nuclear medicine technologist at Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. He works as a concrete finisher for Rok Hard Concrete.

The couple is making their home in West Liberty after honeymooning in White Mountains, N.H.
