Neff, Christie

Melanie Neff and Troy Christie, both of Chicora were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. David Dewitt and the Rev. James Higgins officiated. A reception was held at Hindman Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Vincent and Ann Neff of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Gary and Georgine Christie of Chicora.

The matrons of honor were Karen Callihan and Sharon Blystone, both of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Christina Perry of LeRoy, N.Y.; Kristen Newell of Butler, Erin Murphy of Chevy Chase, Md., Krista Ritzert of Chicora and Kristen Rimer of Harrisburg. The flower girls were Sierra Blystone and Mia Christie, both of Chicora.

The best men were Travis Christie of Magnolia, Texas, and Brad Christie of Chicora. Groomsmen included Roger Kriess of Tampa, Fla.; Greg McCully of Newport News, Va.; Justin Cook of White Oak; Gary Hazy of Indiana, Pa.; and Mike Neff of Bellflower, Calif. The ring bearer was Jordan Christie of Magnolia.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2002 from Allegheny College. She works for McKesson Automation in Cranberry Township.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Karns City High School and in 1999 from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He works for the Pennsylvania State Police in Kittanning.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple is living in Renfrew.
