Pinder, Chiappini
Sara Pinder of Philadelphia and Nicholas Chiappini of Stafford, Va., exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Harry Bielewicz. A reception followed at the Pittsburgh Marriott North.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Karen Pinder of Waterloo, Ontario. Parents of the bridegroom are Ernest and Patricia Chiappini of Butler.
The honor attendant was Angela Jeffrey of Toronto. Bridesmaids included Leanne Hewlin of South Hampton, N.Y.; Stacy Scofield of Pittsburgh; Carolee Clark of Philadelphia; and Emily Chiappini of Butler. Flower girls were Madeline Fox of Butler and Emma Hewlin of South Hampton.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Anthony Chiappini of Butler. Ushers included Ryan Patterson of Tappahannock, Va.; Matt Crawford and Rob Christy, both of Butler; and Francis Savannah of Pittsburgh. Ring bearers were Zach Hewlin of South Hampton and Shane Jeffrey of Toronto.
The bride graduated in 1999 from the Bluevale Collegiate Institute and in 2003 from Saint Francis University. She woks for Pulte Homes in Fairfax, Va.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Saint Francis University. He works for the Stafford County Sheriff's Department in Stafford.
After a honeymoon trip to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, the couple is making their home in Stafford.
