Morreen Schofield of Mars and Gerard Galletta of Valencia exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. March 12 at CrossWay Church in Valencia. The Rev. Pat Summers officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at the Treesdale Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of William Schofield of Youngstown, Ohio, and Shirley Upperman of Edinburg. The groom is the son of Nunzio Galletta of Valencia.

The bride was presented for marriage by her son, Mario Aiello.

The honor attendant was Louise Cover of Hubert, N.C.

Performing the duties of best man was Florian Schmidhammer of Valencia.

The bride graduated in 1981 from Mohawk High School. She works at Great Lakes Financial in Ambridge.

The bridegroom graduated in 1978 from Mars High School. He works for Roomful Express in Butler.

The couple is living in Mars.
