Erin Langer and Justin Sloan, both of Great Mills, Md. exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. July 8 at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills. The Rev. Daniel Maurer officiated. A reception was held at the Butler Days Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Carol Langer of Valencia. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Susan Sloan of Hilliards.

The honor attendant was Anna Price of Lusby, Md. Bridesmaids were Kristine Langer of York, Shannon Pitschke of Gibsonia and Jacki Sloan of Hilliards. The flower girl was Tricia Dietrick of Mars.

Performing the duties of best man was Allen Price of Lusby, Md. Ushers were Mark Langer of York, Ethan Burgess of Greenville, N.C. and Jason Sloan of Baltimore, Md.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Mars High School, earned a bachelor of science degree in 1996 from Penn State University and received a master's degree in 1999 from the University of Pittsburgh. She works for the Calvert County Public Schools in Prince Frederick, Md.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2000 graduate of Thiel College. He also works for the Calvert County Public Schools.

After a Hawaiian honeymoon, the newlyweds are making their first home in Great Mills.
