Grove, Wick

Wendy Grove and Michael Wick, both of Butler were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 30 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. J. David Panther. A reception followed at the Four Points Sheraton.

The bride is the daughter of Walter Grove and Mary Grove, both of McKeesport. Parents of the bridegroom are Richard and Donna Wick of Butler.

The honor attendant was Sara Griest of Butler. Bridesmaids were Angelica Grove of McKeesport and Anastasia Rekich, Noelle Sequite, Diane Wick and Kayla Wick, all of Butler. Amber Allday of Butler was the flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Doug Wick of Butler. Ushers were Luke Melius of Bedford, Rob Miller of Harrisville, and Jim Reich, Doug Raabe and Bryan Griest, all of Butler. Damion Flinner of Butler was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated in 1996 from McKeesport High School and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University. She works for the Pittsburgh Public Schools.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Slippery Rock High School. He works for Butler Floor.

After a honeymoon trip to the Whitehouse resort in Jamaica, the couple is living in Butler.
