Peters, McNeish

Butler residents Elizabeth Peters and Jacob McNeish were united in marriage at 3 p.m. April 16 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford. The Rev. Peter Murphy officiated. A reception followed at the Northern Tier Library.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce Peters of Washington and Catherine Peters of Pittsburgh. Parents of the bridegroom are Merle and Christine McNeish of Renfrew.

The bride was presented for marriage by her father and her brother, Sean Peters of Pittsburgh.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Katrina Peters of Slippery Rock. Stephanie Nardello of Wexford was the bridesmaid and Bridget Horan of Wexford was the flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Seth McCall of Butler. The usher was Tom McConnell of Shaler. Matthew Horan of Wexford was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Clarion University, earning a bachelor of arts degree in anthropology. She is employed at Slippery Rock Veterinary Hospital in Slippery Rock.

The groom is also a 1999 graduate of BHS. He works for Mars Lumber in Mars.

The couple is making their home in Butler. A honeymoon trip to Jamaica is planned in December.
