3:31 p.m. Tuesday — Brooke Williams, 27, of Butler was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly stole items from K-Mart on Hansen Avenue and was discovered to be in possession of a capped syringe.
Monday — Joseph Chajka, 56, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole merchandise from Trader Horn at Greater Butler Mart.Monday — Craig S. Smith, 35, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole merchandise from Trader Horn at Greater Butler Mart.Friday — Lisa Vozar, 48, and Thomas Goeppner, 50, both of Butler, each were charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy, theft by deception and receiving stolen property after they allegedly stole about $575 worth of items from Kohl's at Butler Crossing, then attempted to return the stolen items for store gift cards.
11:03 a.m. Tuesday — Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked in the lot behind 220 W. Pine St. between 6:15 p.m. Monday and 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, and stole a brown, bi-fold wallet.Tuesday — Someone stole a briefcase containing a key, client list and business cards belonging to Amber Werner of Grove City from Werner's vehicle while it was parked behind her Ivan Drive residence.4 p.m. Monday — Someone used white spray paint to write graffiti on a three-foot section of fence at 430 Memorial Avenue. Anyone with information should call police at 724-458-7925.
Thursday — Harold D. Wilson, 19, of Butler was charged with criminal conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility after he allegedly arranged a sale of heroin on the 300 block of North Main Street with an undercover officer.
10:12 p.m. Monday — Marsha Ann Maurice, 52, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of DUI after the vehicle she was driving allegedly struck a stop sign, drove through a private yard, then struck two trees in the yard. She also is accused of fleeing the scene. Maurice's car allegedly was discovered parked in a driveway a short time later and she was arrested.2:56 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Derrick A. Custer, 22, of Hilliards and a car driven by Chance M. Saeler, 18, of Parker collided on Oneida Valley Road in Washington Township. Saeler and his passenger, Meghan M. York, 21, of Parker, each suffered minor injuries. Custer suffered moderate injuries and was cited for driving at unsafe speed and failure to wear a safety belt.10:30 p.m. Sunday — Someone stole two televisions belonging to Jason S. Beckwith of Karns City from a residence along Linde Lane in Concord Township between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sunday.Sunday — Someone stole a JA-MAR trailer, valued at about $1,600 and belonging to David B. Ewing of Butler, from a residence along Kennedy Road in Prospect between Sept. 1 and Sunday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.
