Shavonne Ayres, left, of the Rotary Club of Cranberry Township (Noon) presented Butler County Humane Society volunteer Alicia Sharer, right, and shelter resident Cooper the beagle with a check for $1,500 on Tuesday afternoon. The club also donated $1,500 in supplies to the animal shelter. Money was raised throughout the year with various fundraisers. Sharer said the funds will cover veterinarian bills, food and toys for cats and dogs cared for by volunteers.
