SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s volleyball team is picked to finish last in the PSAC West by the preseason coaches poll.

California (Pa.), winner of four of the past six PSAC championships, is picked to win the league.

SRU finished 14-19 overall, 7-12 in the PSAC West, under coach Laurie Lokash last season. Lokash is entering her 30th year as coach and returns 11 players from last season.

Among the returnees is Sarah Beals, a senior from Seneca Valley.
