Freeport boys edge Highlands

Summit Academy's Doug Brooks dropped 32 points and the Knights drained nine 3-pointers in a wild 91-81 boys basketball victory Tuesday night at A-C Valley.

The Knights improved to 4-9 with the win.

Ryan Bartley scored 29 points to lead the Falcons (11-2), who scored 31 points in the fourth quarter before falling.

A-C Valley hit eight 3-pointers in defeat, including five from senior guard Brody Irwin.
