Zang 50th anniversary
Robert A. and Hiroko Zang of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner in Cranberry Township. They also will celebrate with a trip to Japan.
Zang married the former Hiroko Yoshida on Sept. 15, 1965, in Hiroshima, Japan.
They have four children, Janet and Shawn Krepps, Patty and Matt Pearson, Tresia Zang and Dan Gray and Robert and Maura Zang Jr.
They also have four grandchildren.
Zang served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. He was in the military for 21 years and served two tours in Vietnam.
Zang retired as a Veteran’s Administration police officer.
He is a member of VFW 249.
Mrs. Zang retired from Moonlight Mushroom.
She is a member of the Pittsburgh Japanese Cultural Society.
The Zangs are members of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
