North Washington Rodeo to ride into town with a parade Aug. 16
The North Washington Rodeo is a go.
While the rodeo was, like many other events, canceled last year out of an abundance of caution because of COVID-19, the rodeo’s organizers plan to conduct the event from Aug. 17 through 21, with a parade Aug. 16.
The event will be sponsored by the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, and will occur at 8 p.m. each day, rain or shine. Gates will open at 6 p.m. those days.
Organizers also plan to hold the Rodeo Queen contest May 15. Those interested can email northwashingtonrodeoqueen@gmail.com for an application and more information.
