Tyler Hrip scored two goals and Trevor Gilliland and Evan Kison one apiece to lead the Butler freshman hockey team to a 4-2 victory over Hampton Thursday at the Ice Connection.

Jake Curry made 11 saves as Butler (4-5) hosts Kittanning Thursday.

• Andrew Paterno and Nick Patten had 15 points each and Eric Hindman added 13 as the Butler freshman boys basketball team defeated Shaler 53-45 Friday.

The Tornado defeated Fox Chapel Tuesday as Paterno scored 17 points and Patten added 12.
