Butler’s junior high wrestling team dropped a 45-40 decision to Hampton Wednesday night.

The Golden Tornado picked up pins from Caleb Baxter at 95 pounds, Max Stalnaker at 100 and Mike Vought at 105. Hugh O’Neil won by major decision at 80 pounds.

Jared Hinkle won in overtime at 115, Justin Johnson by decision at 185, Austin Birckbichler and Donovan Malovich by forfeit at 85 and 90 pounds, respectively.

Butler hosts Greensburg Salem at 5 p.m. Thursday.
