Bonny Grigor and Alex Hernandez, both of Louisville, Ky., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Eastlake Country Club in Chula Vista, Calif. A reception followed at the country club.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Linda Grigor of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert Freed and Celia Salazar Freed, both of San Diego.

The flower girl was Clarissa Sepulveda of Chula Vista.

The ring bearer was Tyler Katz of Chula Vista.

The bride attended Butler High School and graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1993. She received her bachelor's degree in biology in 1997 at the University of Louisville, where she is currently a senior in the School of Dentistry.

The groom graduated from Montgomery High School in 1984 and attended Southwestern College. He works as a union negotiator for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 227.

Following a honeymoon trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple is residing in Louisville.
