5:36 p.m. Sunday — Stephen J. Peffer, 41, of Butler was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer on Route 8 just north of Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Peffer, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a cut on the head. Police described the injury as minor.2:58 p.m. Sunday — A motorcyclist and passenger were uninjured when the 2012 Harley-Davidson Ultra they were riding crashed on Route 58, just east of Black Road in Marion Township. Police did not identify the driver or passenger on the bike.Both riders escaped injury, according to a police report, because they were wearing protective leather clothing and helmets.Sunday — A white Apple iPod and Amazon Kindle Fire reading device contained in a purse case were stolen from an apartment on Coronish Drive in Slippery Rock. The theft happened Saturday or Sunday.4:30 p.m. Saturday — A car and pickup truck collided on Calico Road just north of Brimstone Road in Washington Township. Police did not identity either driver. There were no injuries. The driver of the car was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:50 a.m. Friday — An unidentified vehicle struck a guardrail on Bruin Road in Parker Township. The unknown driver later left the crash scene just west of Christy Hill Road.5:52 a.m. Wednesday — A car crashed into an embankment on Brewer Road in Clinton Township after the driver, who police did not identify, swerved to avoid a deer in the road.12:20 a.m. Nov. 11 — A suspected drunken motorcyclist, who police did not identify, was pinned under his 2011 Harley-Davidson KBM for more than an hour after crashing on Spring Run Road just north of Henricks Road in Center Township.Police said a passerby happened upon the wreck and lifted the cycle off the man. Police said he was later arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.Nov. 9 — An unknown burglar stole unspecified items worth a combined $14,559 from a Texas-based contractor's storage trailer in the 900 block of Ekastown Road in Clinton Township. Police said the property, owned by LouTex Contractors Inc., was taken Nov. 8 or 9.
2:20 p.m. Sunday — Sara J. Brown, 87, of Grove City was hurt when she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree after hitting a guardrail and ditch on Route 208 just east of Pine Top Drive in Pine Township. Brown, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
