Judith K. Storar

Judith K. Storar

Judith K. “Judy” (Fleming) Storar, 78, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born on Jan. 28, 1943, and was the loving wife for 57 years to Frank J. “Butch” Storar.

She was the beloved mother of four children, Terry Storar of Oklahoma, Jody (Gary) Aschenbrenner of Wisconsin, Erin (Bryan) Stewart of Florida, and the late Larry (Robin) Storar.

Her heart grew with the birth of each grandchild, Joshua (Danielle) Storar, Jessica (Jake) Heckel, Christopher Storar, Chelsea Storar, Jordan (Molly) Narvett, Savannah Stewart, Justin Narvett, Rex Stewart and Tristan Storar; and her stepgrandchildren, Faith, Justin (Amy), Camron and Morgan (Nate) Aschenbrenner.

She adored her great-grandchildren, Calah, Dalton, Ripley, PJ and Jalynn.

Her heart always had room for more, as she welcomed many more into the family with open arms.

Surviving are her brothers, Gary L. Fleming Sr. and Virgil “Gene” (Nancy) Fleming; her brother-in-law, Richard (Mary Margaret) Storar.

She was the aunt to many nephews and nieces.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Virgil H. and Maxine Fleming; her in-laws, Frank C. and Lillian Storar; her brother, Robert Fleming; and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

Judy was a faithful member of Grace Community Church, where she had many friends she considered as family. She helped in ministry and mission work, and served at the Lighthouse emergency shelter. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Norwood Herrington Chapter 356.

Judy was a woman of many talents, whose hands and heart served so many. She not only raised her own children, but also fostered children, helped raise nephews and nieces, and was caretaker of friends' children. She was a master in taking care of her home, cooking and gardening, with her picturesque flowers and landscaping. She easily mastered crafts, and taught many the art of sewing and quilting, ceramics, and was a hairdresser for her family, friends and neighbors.

She will be greatly missed! We are comforted to know that her faith was strong and she is no doubt in God's arms with Butch by her side.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Willow Lane Assisted Living in Appleton and the Heartland Hospice team for their excellent care.
