Pooch gets his day on 'Rachael Ray Show'
A local dog made his national debut on the “Rachael Ray Show” with his owner, Tracy Diable of Butler Township.
Five months ago, Eagle readers were introduced to the young hound mix named Boone and his family, Tracy and Charles Diable. Boone gets around using prosthetic wheels after his back legs were cut off.
Boone is one of the dogs that received prosthetics from Joey’s P.A.W., a nonprofit run by his owners which provides partial or full funds to dogs in need of a prosthetic or a wheelchair so they can have a chance at a more mobile life.
On Thursday morning, during the lifestyle show on WGN-America, Ray offered the nonprofit a lifetime supply of dog food and said that she and another company will donate $5,000 to the nonprofit.
