Master Ron Sankey holds a board for Winter Phillips, 7, at the Butler Young Brothers Tae Kwon Do school during a “break-a-thon” Sept. 23 to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey. Butler students raised $3,600 for the Houston Food Bank. Additional donations were collected at break-a-thons held at other Western Pennsylvania locations of Young Brothers, including Cranberry Township, for a total of $50,000. Another $8,000 was raised by Young Brothers students at schools in the Houston area. Directing the Butler break-a-thon was Master Tim Curci. Boards were donated by Grand Master Young Bo Kong.
