JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School Board Monday night voted to appoint a new assistant principal at the senior high school.

Joseph Villani will become assistant principal, moving from his previous role as the district’s secondary assistant principal for data and assessment.

He replaces Jeffrey Roberts, who was appointed district gifted education supervisor.

Villani earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He also played offensive line for several years in the NFL and the Arena Football League.
