Commissioners appointed Tannor Williams treasurer effective Friday.

Williams, a recent Slippery Rock University graduate, was originally hired as an intern. Williams had a hand in the enhanced recycling program.

He takes over for Marcie Love who last month resigned from the position of treasurer and office assistant, which go hand-in-hand, according to the commissioners.

Love had served in those roles seven years.

Sam Zurzolo said Love will be missed.

“She’s done an outstanding job for the township,” Zurzolo said. “Myself and the township wish her luck in the future.”
