JEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Ministries will have its 138th Anniversary Summer Festival from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the Lund Care Center backyard.
All are invited to relive the sounds of t The Pittsburgh Doo Wop Big Band, the featured entertainment from 1 to 3 p.m. on stage in the big tent.
The 4 p.m. worship service will be led by the Rev. Dan Hahn Jr., Concordia board member, regional vice president of the Eastern District, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
Children's activities include a fishing derby, bounce castle, caricature artist, face painting, crafts and games all day in the gazebo on campus.

The free second annual Neighbors with a Purpose Old-Fashioned BBQ will be Saturday in the Alameda Park Lions Pavilion, 182 Alameda Park Road.Presented by Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, registration will begin at noon.Free pool passes are on first-come first-served basis.
