JEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Ministries will have its 138th Anniversary Summer Festival from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the Lund Care Center backyard.

All are invited to relive the sounds of t The Pittsburgh Doo Wop Big Band, the featured entertainment from 1 to 3 p.m. on stage in the big tent.

The 4 p.m. worship service will be led by the Rev. Dan Hahn Jr., Concordia board member, regional vice president of the Eastern District, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod

Children's activities include a fishing derby, bounce castle, caricature artist, face painting, crafts and games all day in the gazebo on campus.

The free second annual Neighbors with a Purpose Old-Fashioned BBQ will be Saturday in the Alameda Park Lions Pavilion, 182 Alameda Park Road.Presented by Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N.
